Momoo Omuro mainly use the ancient glass technique, Paste of Glass Technique. Started with clay modelling, the whole production process is time-consuming and complicated. Firstly, she spends lots of time on engraving delicate and fine pattern on clay model, and later make plaster cast from it. Then, putting glass powder with different color and particle size inside this plaster cast model and then firing them in the glass kiln. Finally, it ends with the finishing polish. Her handcraft softens glass’s image, and instead, bring us with glass ware with a gentle and soft appearance. She is producing a large range of works, including tableware, such as bowls and plates, as well as lampshades and artworks.
