Hideki Yokoyama, a glassblowing artist based in Iizuka, Fukuoka Prefecture. He studied under Shinzo Kodani, the founder of Kurashiki Glass, and mastered the glassmaking technology through his own perception. Without any temperature measurement sensor, he is working rely on the operating conditions of kiln. He put the characteristics of materials in the first place that works in an ineffective way. However, this ineffective way enables him to create unique and charming work.
